Hello,

the rating points (same is true for tournament points) are only depending on win or lose and the actual number of rating points you and your opponent have respectivly at that moment.

It is also explained in the FAQ.

No, the number of pieces/points you have at the end of the game has zero to do with ratings points. Your rating vs. your opponent's rating (along with who wins) is all that matters and it is calculated with a formula.
