i am curious to know how many of you (professional or otherwise) do your designing by straight coding with
a WYSIWYG program such as frontpage
a program that has is not WYSIWYG but offers several shortcuts such as arachnophilia or bluefish
a straight text editor such as notepad
i would appreciate knowing your reasons for your choice too.
thanks
Textpad is a great tool (like Russ said).
It has syntax highlighting for a lot of languages (and you can download a lot more document classes if the language you're using is not supported).
I don't realy like any of the WYSIWYG products, except maybe dreamweaver (mostly for .asp stuff), but don't even instal Frontpage if you really need to create any serious webpages.

I don't like big application like Frontpage because it put lot of garbage codes in your html files when you use the drag and drop.

Heeey Russ! You're back, how was your honeymoon? Were have you been? It's good to see you again!

Just for fun, here is a honeymoon snap from the middle of the Indian ocean. My poor new wife has now become a walking billboard - she didn't just marry the man, she married the site too. 🙂
