Poorly targeted Pop Up Ads?

I keep getting one when I visit RHP from a company advertising adult school credits.

This is a chess site. What makes them think we didn't finish school?

you know, I bickered about the ads as well earlier. Than I said screw it and became a member. I think that may be why the site choses stupid ppl to endorse it. So that we get fed up with it and become members. On the down side i stopped winning xbox 360's. 😞

I dropped out of school when I was 12.

Playing in smoky chess halls, running ciggies for the IMs involved in long games.

They used to let me sleep out back in exchange for wiping all the boards down. Been chess huslin' ever since.

From what I understand, those ads are tailored to cookies on your computer. You get those ads because of careful market research by the advertising company! Or so someone once told me here on the forums.
