Can anyone give me 1 good reason why Ronaldo was kept on the bench the first 45 minutes?And why has Scholari Figo and Deco playing at the same time,while Figo clearly doesn't want to play with him?Not that Deco should stay on the bench,just take Figo off the field,he mostly played on his own anyway.Maybe someone should explain to him that it's a team sport.

Anyway, I found it tragic that the host country should lose. Especially from Greece. I mean...what's Greece? I thought it was a chain of restaurants?!?
My brother, however, is a very good footballer and he was explaining that many of the top players are very tired at the end of a season. This means that many of the teams filled with these players: Portugal, France, Italy and Spain won't play like you would expect them to.

Ronaldo is an awesome player though, I suspect he will be starting their remaining 2 group games. Russia looked mediocre again; this result sets up a thriller game against Spain. Being English, I have a soft spot for the Portuguese: Best of British to you!
