@Martin saidNo idea what you are referring to, sorry.
Recently there have been a number of (usually unpleasant) posts by people who have been here for years but not played many games.
Why?
Russ has said forum post clicks do not generate revenue.
So, why come out of the woodwork and start posting after many years?
Opinions please.
@Martin saidthe gates of hades are rusted and bent
Why?
welded to one other for non-payment of rent
but the evil is beginning to escape
they've ground away the fillets of old
they crawl upon their claws and the tips of their spiked wings
leaving trails of slime behind
they desire to witness! to see the chess site of gold!
to feel the love of friends and the ponderace of the move
they lust for companionship, a hand of flesh to hold
the majesty of the rook to behold!
they wish a mind to corrupt, a conversation to wreck and ruin
these demons, these evil critters of stench
they will return
and return again
as long as humans do not raise their eyes to heaven and wail the words of praise to the cosmic identity!
ALL HAIL E4!
@Removed-by-poster saidShav runs rings around you. (Irrespective of what moustache you are wearing).
@Martin
I'll explain it,
They're are roughly 30 regular posters here and half of those people post a lot. The other half only post occasionally.
Some don't even play chess or have a subscription but they still hang out because they like it, or its just been they're way of life for years.
Their are also people who returned or changed their username which woul ...[text shortened]... unpleasant posts so put your big boy pants on and say names.

One reason you may see some old names about again is an email is currently going out to all abandoned accounts effectively saying the account is about to be removed due to inactivity.
C'mon Ghost, when ya gonna move already ? Yer time bank ran out last week. I know, it's an 'immortal' game... Being an immortal myself, it gets tedious.
