Best threads of 23-24 involve a combination of:
dive
FMF
Ghost
Suzianne
The rest is just filler.
@kewpie saidSoooooo, a stiff pancake?
The Australian version is as big across as a hamburger roll, but only as thick as a toast slice and can be toasted in most home toasters. I'm guessing an aerated unsweetened batter cooked on a hard hot surface such as a griddle. Americans wouldn't like them because they're not sweet. Mind you, honey or jam tends to get piled on ...

@divegeester saidEgad.
Crumpets toasted with butter and topped with marmite is the only way to go. Accompanied by a cup of tea in a China teacup of course.
@suzianne saidVegemite, instead of marmite which is tamer, and just enough to float on the top of a LOT of real butter. Don't knock it until you've tried it.
Egad.
I wouldn't call it a stiff pancake, the texture is light because the batter is full of holes.
@kewpie saidpancakes are yeast free crumpets have to be left to prove.I have OXO gravy on my pancakes

@the-gravedigger saidI would have agreed with Ghost and Suzianne but you had to put the TWINS in it!

@very-rusty saidI thought Moosehead and donuts was the breakfast of champions up there, eh?
Donuts?
Not in my diet at this point in time. 🙂
Bacon shouldn't be either but I don't have it that often perhaps a few times a month. 🙂
