I think that Prawn Sarnie has decided to leave the site, if you check his details he's not subscribed member any longer. I think he's playing out some of his exisiting games.
I know Prawn Sarnie as we work together, he passed me the leadership baton in our clan "Lard for all Occaisions" yesterday and just said he was going to spend some time away from the site. That's all I know as he has been off work I haven't been able to ask him much more.
Knowing Steve I would have thought that reaching a 2000+ rank, being in the top ten and beating Edmond Dantes may well be enough for him, although I would imagine he would like to be number 1 as he is very competetive. I'm none the wiser but will find out more as soon as I see him. It's a shame to lose him and Dantes over one game time out though.
It's a shame to lose [prawnsarnie] and Dantes over one game time out though.[/b]I'm not trying to be cold hearted or nasty - I don't know either player - but so what? People leave this site all the time for many reasons, be it they simply stopped enjoying chess, need to break the addiction, or threw their teddy out of the pram and need to go look for it. They are both undoubtably good players, but from my perspective this site has hundreds of good players.
People come & people go. What's important is that more people are enjoying this great site & enjoying it.
