Originally posted by divegeesterI use the iPad quite a lot for browsing, but usually with my trusty Apple keyboard, which makes things easier by a long way. When a kb is connected, the iPad recognises keystrokes like Cmd-L to go to the location bar, and so on and so forth. I also like the double tap to adjust the width of the text to the screen width, among several other things. I dislike the lack of adblocking, although for users of iOS 9 and more recent models of the iPad I believe this is an option. Safari on the iPad also has the very useful Reader function, which I use more and more.
I agree. But I find the iPad to be a poor interface for most websites which is why I've recently upgraded my ailing laptop. This site works well on Google chrome on a laptop I find.
But you're right, Google Chrome is probably still the best browser for desktops and laptops, although I'm also very impressed by Safari in El Capitan.
