I'm playing a game of chess and this guy wants to use his queen to take a pawn or two of mine.

Is your knight not strong enough? Why the queen? Look, I really don't care. I've got like 8 or more pawns, I just feel it lame for the queen to take pawns considering how much more powerful she is.

Thoughts?

Simple: It's all about personal freedom. He respects your style and you respect his.

He rolls in his own way, while you roll in yours. Live and let live in life and on RHP.

Well I've got a trap! I'm going to take his queen by sacrificing my 2 Rooks, a Bishop and Knight!~ That will learn him.

Impression was that discussing games in progress was frowned upon.

Make sure to give up some more pawns while you're at it. Teach him a lesson he'll never forget.

That all depends upon whether the game is co-existing in the same time-space continuum as the TOS.
