Malkovich certainly has his moments, as with his role as ‘Booth’ in ‘In The Line of Fire’.

But for me Bardem in No Country for Old Men, and also more campy but equally as brilliantly acted, as Silva in Skyfall, is the best of the two.

Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter.

Bette Davis in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Boris Karloff 😲

I just watched Killers of the Flower Moon for the first time (highly recommended). While I don’t generally consider Leonardo Di Caprio’s appearance psychologically frightening, his persistent frown created a personae which portrayed his character’s inner conflict from start of film to finish. For me, it was unsettling. Genius acting by Di Caprio
