Excellent. Perfectly placed.
Atop a crumpet,
lies a sprinkly cheese.
But like a trumpet,
it makes me sneeze.

1. Madrid is closest in latitude to New York City.
Paris, London and Moscow are all further north than any part of New York State.

2. I thought Belize was the smallest but fact checking myself I discovered it is El Salvador.

3. Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan.

4. Eswatini is the new name for Swaziland ...[text shortened]... the official name to avoid confusion with Switzerland!

I scored 1/4

Next up is the Music Round
That’s annoying, had Madrid typed and changed it.

I suspect you are not familiar with the North West of England. When I worked for four months on a sewing machine to top up my finances to get through medical school, I was the only person in the factory who wasn't Pakistani. As a junior doctor there would always be at least one Pakistani colleague everywhere I worked. I was able to get the job in the factory through the Manchester Pakistani community thanks to one of the numerous medical students from that background.

Ask somebody from Bolton like Hell's Caretaker how much he doesn't know about living and working with Pakistanis.

Nonetheless if I had said that when I answered it would lead others to think my answer was bound to be right and spoiled the quiz for them so I didn't.

A second piece of advice. Stop making sweeping generalisations about Westerners. There are an awful lot of us from a multitude of different backgrounds. Sweeping generalisations about people based on a single demographic are never going to go well for you.

Note, this is a friendly quiz amomg a few people from all over the world, if anyome wants the answers explained we all have Google.

Side note, I've been to about 40 countries in the world now and naming capitals geberally isn't a problem but others just aren't as interested.

A bet a lot of Asian people know more about the US than Pakistan, what's your point?

@Duchess64

So, in general terms, you are enjoying this little quiz idea?

Why don't you have a go at the 'music round'. I must warn you, the questions are extremely biased towards British/US musicians, although Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of one of the options in q4, was, I believe, born in Zanzibar.

Again, it's a friendly quiz. We all know things others don't, it's not the place to lecture people about it.

I assume you you are suggesting that perhaps I believe in racist stereotypes because that is as far as you now dare to venture down the road of making false accusations of racism that are based on zero evidence.

I am 100% certain that there is no evidence on RHP or anywhere else in my life that would suggest I am anything other than opposed to racism. On the other hand I am curious as to why I haven't seen any posts from you in recent weeks? Are you confident that there is no evidence that you try and stain people's characters through comments like the above?

How can you say that I fixate on some Westerners as representing all Westerners in response to my advise that you should not generalise from that one demographic? Makes no sense??

Edit: A quote from the post you are replying to, "A second piece of advice. Stop making sweeping generalisations about Westerners. I think I heard it before, must of been why it was my first thought, when you think of NY being covered in snow and Madrid winters being quite pleasant it's really hard to believe.
