if you put inflated balloons down your pants when you go running and you forget to do up your laces and trip over, will the balloons:

a:cushion the blow?
b: pop?
c: make you float away?

apologies if this thread has been done already, but i need to know urgently?

A scientist forms his or her own hypothesis and then conducts experiments. Looking forward to your posting the results.

Inserting them long modelling balloons up you anal cavity, then inflating them, is quite an interesting experiment.
I suggest that you try it and draw conclusions from the results.

I think D: it will bounce you and causing quite a bruise on the leg / underbelly / knee / where ever the balloon is hiding. The clothes will probably protect the balloon from sharp particles on the ground; and the impact on the large contact surface of the balloon and body will probably be spread out on the entire balloon and your body.

c's not gonna happen. a vs. b depends on how hard you land on them, existence/non-existence of sharp, intervening protuberances, etc.

Silly question but why the hell would you put inflated ballons down your pants when running?

Are you sadly lacking in the lunchbox department?

As you fall, the balloons will hit first. The one on the left will pop, the one on the right act as a fulcrum to make your head hit the ground directly without the rest of the body hitting. The head will pop.

The second balloon will not.

Note how his/her head has a hat on it. Obviously he/she is hiding the fact that the top of his/her head has popped off.
