I'm new to the site and would like to subscribe. However, with several games going, I went on vacation, notifying my opponents and announcing my return. I came back to find myself timed out by one of my opponents, Redeye the Old, incurring my first loss without finishing. I thought there was a 7-day grace period. Is there anything I can do? Or is this simply an incordial move by my opponent? I would like to erase the loss if possible. Thanks.

There is nothing you can do about the time forfet loss. The vacation mode and being timed out or not is up to the mercy of your opponent. Guess some players have no mercy in them at all.

As Gambit indicated, there's no way to get your game back, sorry.

Please dont let one time out stop you from joining up though. Its tough when vacations aren't planned, for sure. The thing is, if you know in advance, you can set your site parameters to only accept games with longer timeouts, then you're all set.

Its different with different people, some take timeouts right away, some do not honor vacation flags.

Toss me a game if you'd like, its a great site - join up!
