How can i delete a game without hurting stats?

You can only delete a game if that option is showing up next to it on the 'Your Games' page ie: Before too many moves have been made. Games deleted like this do not affect ratings. It's only a few moves in mind you.

Actually, it appears that you CAN delete a game later.
If a game has timed out, rather than claiming a win, one can go to the "manage games" page, and there you are given an option to DELETE the game, rather than claim the win.

A useful feature I feel...

True - but in a way that would 'harm your stats' wouldn't it? ie: You wouldn't be getting the points that you were entitled to.
I can't see me using that feature very often - I either claim the timeout or I don't - simple as that. 🙂
