How much money would it take to get you to quit playing chess for the rest of your life?
I've been running through the figures and I'm thinking somewhere in the six-digit range, God help me. Any figure I come up with could easily be just a two or three year salary in a couple years, and we're talking an entire lifetime of missing out on Queen-Rook forks and pawn sacrifices. It's quite a quandry when you think about it.
