Considering all the advancements in technology, communications and everything else, but especially the World Wide Web, has there been a significant corresponding improvement in human existence as far as peace and security is concerned?

Is the world getting better? Or worse?

I thought it was quite obvious that the world is getting worst! Do you watch the news?

Define "better". We'll then build with that an opposite in order to infer "worst".

It's obvious to me at least, but some may argue for what they perceive as improvement. Something to be said for that I suppose, but I was thinking more along the lines of social compatibility.

I'm of the opinion that we, the human race, are more separated and less in unity than ever before. Fractured. I would be interested in the details and statistics.

Well, no name calling, or flippin' people off, or scratching the paint on their cars with your key. You know, no groin kicks and stuff like that. 😉

    Can you think of anything?

I agree. It's the same, only more of it. What with the dramatic increase in population and all.
