Originally posted by SchliemannSo did you have the same problem as me when I moved from our fair southern states to the Pacific Northwest? Mainly, the redefinition of what a "sunny day" meant. See, where I come from (Georgia/Florida), a sunny day meant a day with out a cloud in the sky. A "sunny day" in washington and northern oregon means "a day with a break in the clouds that lasts over ten minutes." We won't even start on Seattle's mistaken idea about what a "hot" day is. Oregon at least occasionally gets into the pleasant range, and by that I mean the 80-90s mid summer.

What is the game number? You have eager spectators who want to watch. 😛
I've tried playing sicilian defenses against alapin players before - it can be really tough, when well executed that's a beautiful counter to a sicilian player. Particularly one like me, who doens't know all of the variant lines!
