it appears there's an awful lot of resigning. I saw the player tables, and looekd me up for "total moves" (1000) and I have 22 games, the avr. is about 30-33.

Edit: I have 22 games with 1000 moves, and the average people with 1000 moves on this site have 30-33 games done. Is that resigning?

Edit (for post #3) then does that mean they play shorter games?!?

meh, some people don't like to come home, log onto RHP, and have to take it in the bum from someone one move at a time for the next week as they try and checkmate you with a king and a queen... but don't really know how, or if they've just made too many blunders

yeah, I understand the Queen vs king situation, but there's always room for comeback otherwise

Why did you resignGame 2564537 Game 2643637.

Had you kept moving you could have taken your average moves per game up!

People resign because they know its a lost cause so that they can then concentrate on other games in progress or start new games.

Hell, if you decided to be a complete pain in the butt you could decide to play out all your games to a conclusion and take your average moves much higher but whats the point?

I have played over 2200 game sonn the site and average 32 moves per game. Quite a few games have finished in 10 moves or less. Quite a few games have gone 50 moves +
