Here's one for you, my son's favorite movie right now.
"we were all walking on air that night. It had been a solid victory, in fact, we had beaten the crap out of those guys." What's it from?

Was it "Benchwarmers" or "Sandlot?"

Here's another Hitch quote:

Why are they doing this? Why are they doing this? They said when you got here, the whole thing started. Who are you? What are you? Where did you come from? I think you're the cause of all this. I think you're evil! EVIL!

I don't need a name, I just need a movie.

And another quote:

There's more to fighting than rest, sir. There's character. There's strength of heart. You should have seen us in action two days ago. We were a sight to see! We'll be ready, sir. When do you want us?

Character and movie.

Good luck!

Nope. Which one were you commenting on? But no, that's not correct for either of them.

For the 1st one, I'd guess "The Birds".

And you are right! It was that lady in the restaurant scene. I loved that scene with the religious fanatic, the McCarthyist, the ornithologist, the quoted lady, the children, and, of course, Melanie.

It's been a long time since I saw it. I think it sounded familiar because it seemed so "forced".

Here's one:
"You know who's going to be waiting for you at the airfield in Paris, don't you? ... You."

I don't think I know that one. Is it from a James Bond, perhaps?

Do you have my second quote? The stirring speech?

Definitely not Bond.

Don't know the second one. It probably would have fit in any number of war pics. Actually, if pressed, I would have gone with 'The Thin Red Line' also. There was similar dialogue in that one.

All right, here's one from another of the boy's favorites.
"I'm stuck, curse these bodacious hips of mine. Randall, run back to my house and get the butter." What's it from?

All right, I'll give you the answer: Glory (1989)

Here's another one, this one from a currently running and very popular American TV show.

The names are withheld because it would give it away, but it's a dialogue.

Police chief (name withheld): How sure are you about this? And don't give me this 95 percent crap!

Protagonist (name withheld): Captain, I am 100 percent sure that she *probably* killed her husband. [Waits a moment] 95 percent.

That's a Monk quote (I think, but it could well be from Starsky and Hutch).

"Is your vagina listed in the New York City guide books? Because it should be; hottest spot in town. Always open."

(clue: it's from a TV series, but a film has been made about the same characters)

(clue: No. it's not Charlie's angels)

Yes, that's Monk.

Is the other one "Sex and the City?" It sounded familiar.
