Did you know:
It takes roughly 38 minutes to fall thru the earth
(including all of that gravity and inertia stuff),
and you would land with the same force as the jump you used to get into the earth-hole.

So you are another one of these members of the lumpen masses who reckons the earth is more or less a sphere? 😉

Wait... I'm not sure if that was sarcasm or not...
I'm gonna answer anyway- your head, you would have to hold onto the side of the earth to get back onto the surface.

In fact you would bore a hole through the earth and evactuate it?
Otherwise air friction will be taking away enough kinetic energy that you won't reach the surface on the other side...

After you reached the halfway point you wouldn't be falling any more -- you'd be ascending. 😲

You folks need to turn off your computers, stand up and stretch a little, then go outside and take a nice walk and get yourself some fresh air. Seriously.
(If you live in southern California, NEVER MIND about the fresh air.) 😀

a random fact...

humans begin to know everything at birth, know everything completely at 12-13 years of age, and only after having experienced life for about sixty years do they realize they do not know anything at all...
funky time, eh???
