Here's a novel site idea that's possibly coming of age... it concerns expanded software application of the 'Personal Message Ignore List'.

17 months and my Iggy List's still a brand new unused factory issue virgin. Some members utilize this site feature to avoid contact with

members they wish to disassociate themselves from. So how about asking Russ & Chris to perform a minor miracle, linking these lists

to the forums. Customized contents would appear on all members' screens. Yes, I jest. Would be a nice gift though for Andy and Seitse.

Oh Bob! I think you have a typo there. Do you mean version instead of virgin?

Thanks, Ale, but not quite. She's actually never even been looked at or contemplated, much less touched on my open door laptop screen.

You're sowing the seeds of your own demise.

If RHP users had the ability to block certain forum contributors, Grampy Bobby would vanish without a trace.

I have seen the future...

General Forum

Page 1

21 threads, 1 phantom dates.

Page 2

22 threads

Page 3

26 threads, 3 phantom dates.

Page 4

28 threads, 2 phantom dates.

Page 5

25 threads, 3 phantom dates.
-----------------------------

This is something I'm willing to live with. There are 30 threads on any given page, surely GB can't fill them all?

Once again you've succumbed to the temptation of trying too hard to make a non-point to your phantom crowd and have succeeded brilliantly.

Out of curiosity took a look at our recent general forum thread activity. Time bracket for pages 1-15 is October 15 to December 4, 2008.

Factoids:

(1) 30 threads per page x 15 pages = 450 / 50 days = 9 active threads per day on average.

(2) Grouped thread activity in four simple categories... 1-9 posts; 10-99 posts ...[text shortened]... r appeal, quality and entertainment value of our general forum.

Way too much time on your hands. Is this what you call retirement? You can have it.
