you get a rec when someone presses the recommend button beneath one of your posts...i see you have three for asking what a rec is, so they can't be all that hard to get...

Wow. 6 recs for asking a simple question.

I get 0 recs for typing out a post that takes me 25 minutes to create in the Debates forum 🙁

yeah-the best way to get a rec is probubly to start a thread entitled "please give generously" with the content "i would like a rec, please?".

either that, or be site admin (25 rec's for one post? geez!)
