7-- 2recs
the rest all have 1 rec each.
So if just 2 persons recommend something it shoots to the top [or near] of the list.
I almost prefer when there were plenty of well-recommended insults to read.
This proves the 'recommended posts' system ain't working - as predicted by many astute members.
i peronally see no point in the recommended posts selection as you are normally looking through the entire thread anyway to see what has been said. Otherwise you get highlights when important points might have been missed.
Plus many users have already used up their allocated recs for these 30 days, so the selection may be very low as has been illustrated when posts with just 2 recs geet near the top when in the good old days you needed about 6 to get up there.

I simply would like to stop having to pretend rec to find out if 30 days has pasted. I think our personal home page should have a time till rec reset.
I.E.
one rec will return on 10/23/06
one rec will return on 10/25/06
three rec's will return on 10/30/06
and so on...
Make sense?
Maybe someone who understands me, could present it in a better way.
