i use spam assasin though it does an excellent job chopping out close to 90%

one reason i get so many is because i have the default directed to me - what this means is that any misspelled items come to me. also, if someone had an email account on our server and then cancelled it, i get all their junk stuff too.
and to think when i first started on email, i looked forward to any mail, because i thought i was communicating with the outside world 😀

It is server based so blocked mail never even makes it as far as your computer before it is stopped. It saves blocked emails for 7 days.
I couldn't live without it now.
I've been working on my spam filter for years now... So don't send me emails that say stuff like
Enlarge
Free
Viagra
V1agra
Teens
Interest
Update
Weight
and so many more. I also filter right at my ISP page, they do a good job. I used to get about 50 per day... now I get about 10 or 15 that just go direct to my trash bin.
Spam Stinks!
