I've met a few people from Fujian who came here, in fact they helped me learn Chinese the first time i went over...they all flew in rather than doing the crate thing. They tend to be financed by criminals and pay back the "loan" that funded their travel...i haven't heard many bad words about them actually (of the triads i mean).

I wasn't suggesting in the slightest that your chinese statement was racist, just that as an analogy it was a strange one to make. I wouldn't consider English, Scottish, or Welsh to be races, and similarly Irish...I'm not saying bigotry is right, just that to make a statement about Irish racist you'd have to add something about colour or something else specific to the race of the individual/group of Irish being spoken about.

I find it better not to argue with people who i can not change the opinion of anymore...it's pointless.
