Game one is scheduled to start on tuesday and has Kurt Schilling facing Mike Mussenia. Both pitchers will be well rested but being the huge sox fan that I am I have to give the edge to Schilling who went 21-6 this year.
Here is my predictions for the series.
Game 1: Schilling wins in Yankee stadium 1-0
Game 2: Martinez wins in Yankee stadium 2-0
Game 3: Hernandez wins in Fenway 2-1
Game 4: Wakefield wins in Fenway 3-1
Game 5: Schilling wins in fenway 4-1
My predictions, Sox beat the Yankees 4-1
Red Sox Nation Unite.
Tell me your predictions
I predict that when this series is over, Red Sox fans will come up with incredible numbers of excuses why they lost ("he left the pitcher in too long" "they took him out too early" "the ball took a bad hop" etc.). They should be good at this; they've had 85 years of practice!!!

So the Red Sox and their fans should save their strength for the incessant whining they're going to do AFTER their elimination by the Yankees; they're gonna need it!!
