taking into account.

If you're putting the letter in a translation machine, I'm sure you won't understand it any better. Talk to some babelfish doctors to see if they can make anything out of it.

thank you very much for your help, schakuhr.

the online translator got everything except this word. wordlingo.com, got the letter within the range of understandablity if not perfect grammar.

now I'll send the translated letter to my boss and get back to the really important work of online chess.

Sounds pretty cool.

Probably someone who reckons while being hounded or something.

Not a speaker myself, but I find when using Babel fish and it fails to find a word, try breaking it down. In this case is gives...

Rekening - 'account'

houdend - 'keeping'

Not knowing the context, it would be hard to say for sure, but could it be to do with book-keeping/accountancy?

hope this helps

[edit] too late again. Doh!

My Dutch is a bit rusty, but roughly translated it means 'taking into account'.

The closest English phrase would be "allowing for"

EDIT: D'oh! Didn't see that schakuhr had already answered it on the second post 😕

It could also mean he [she] is holding the bill in the hands...

"taking into account"... worked perfectly in the context of the letter.
