you can get very short term loans from your bank, although taking out a loan is not always a good idea.

also you can go to your local citizens advice bureau, and they should be able to help you out. I guess that's what i would do if i was in your shoes.

You can't borrow your way out of debt, speak to your landlord and ask him to give you some slack, it's the equivelent of an interest free overdraft

I hear in some places they pay 5 cents a bottle and up at the recycling center.

Somehow I don't think shipping bottles from london to Canada would be profitable with a return of only 5 cents per bottle, not to mention the 7 day time requirement.

You could try asking the person who paid your sub - if you could find our who it was.

I could help you perhaps learn the skills it takes in order to get a job in the car sales business. I have never sold cars over seas before but I imagine the technique is the same. Its long hours but great pay let me know if you are interested.

Tom
I've tried being a salesman before, i am hopeless!!! Thanks for the offer though 😀

There's always great need for young men and women who'll take it up the bum.

Mug old people
There's always plenty of easy pickings to be had. All you need is a brick, a cash despenser and some old geezer with a feeble condition.

Get a job
I know, it sound absolutely draconian and disgusting, but I have heard that it does pay. ...[text shortened]... if you get caught...you never have to pay rent again either. It's a bloody win-win situation!!
Hmmm, kill my best friend. Nahh 😛

If none of Shav's solutions appeal this might help. I am a part time landlord, occassionally (long standing) tenants will ring up to appologize in adavance and ask if it's ok to be a few weeks late with the rent as they are experiencing unusual cashflow problems that are short lived. For tenants that I have had a good landlord/trenant relationship with I ...[text shortened]... to talk about it, I imagine it isn't very good being a week late then your landlord rings you.
I live with my best friend and he's on holiday!! I can't ring him while he's sat on the beach and say 'BTW, i can't pay the rent' that would suck 🙁

When I landed in New Zealand having been travelling for 18 months I was skint.

So I stopped building vans at traffic lights - This evenutually landed me a job banging stakes into the ground for a circus. I knocked on every restaurant saying I would wash up for a meal. I got a wash up job in my first ten restaurants. At weekends I got a commision only job selling CD's door to door.

I was working illegally, doing jobs locals couldn't be hired for. But if you really need money - it is ALWAYS possible to earn it.

After 3 months working 14 hours a day I had saved enough to travel again. New Zealand is a beautiful country.

Good luck in your efforts - but you won't earn money hanging out here.
