Hmm.. got stuffed 5-1. Got first player to be banned for taking steroids (Sanchez - Tampa Bay). Made some transfers. Haven't a clue still.
It looks like I am supposed to go in each day and shuffle my squad players around to maximise points... is this correct? There are games every day?

Originally posted by Freddie2004Freddie, your 'game' against your opponent this week runs until all games all completed on Sunday night. Each day you should set your players to maximize points potential (you can also pre-set it for the week if you'd rather). In other words, if you have a player on your 'bench' that is scheduled to play on a particular day, make sure to get them in your lineup in place of a player that may not have a game that day, or one that is not playing as well as you'd like.
looks like i won the second "round"??? so i think thats 6-6 on agreggate!
is this good/bad what do i do...in essence HELP PLEASE?!?! 😕😕😕
Hope this helps. PM me if you need more help.
As it stands now (up to the end of last night's games) you're up 5-2. You are tied in an additional 7 categories. As there are 14 categories total, at the end of the week the score will be 14-0, 13-1, 8-2-4, or any combination of 14. Each day could see your (and your opponent's) score change depending on who is leading what categories.
Clear as mud yet? 😀

Can someone just tell me what these abbreviations mean in scoring please?
R, RBI, SB, BB, K, AVG, W, CG, SV, K, ERA, WHIP
W Wins, CG Complete Games, SV Saves, K Strikeouts (pitcher), ERA Earned Run Average, WHIP Walks + Hits (allowed by the pitcher) divided by Innings Pitched. All those are pitching categories.
