I pushed our absent friend to the wire, somehow it looks like he made a couple of inspired subs from Thailand to pull off a fully expected win.
Battle of the Basement 2 this week as we take on 2nd bottom for the ultimate early season wooden spoon prize. 🙂 (it's mine - ok?) 😉
If anyone needs a decent 3B player I have 2, I would trade for a decent SS though as that is my weakest batter. I've given up trying to figure out pitching stats.
It looks as if the top of the league is beginning to become a little more cramped. The cream is rising to the top while the deadweights sink to the bottom.
Kudos to the The High Hard Ones who have a formidable lineup and whose hitting dominated my team this past week. Congrats Eagles. Next time around, you won't be so fortunate 😉

Two weeks ago I had lights out pitching but no batting, and against you, my hitting came around and the pitching was asi asi at best.
Looking forward to the return bout!

Ahem...
What were you saying?
Cape Knights 10 - Starrmen 4
What a beating! Was it as good for you as it was for me?! 😉
I reckon it's a fairly even trade, what you need to also take into account though, is whether the pitchers you have are good enough, or which you might be prepared to resign to the bench. Personally, I'd turn it down, but I am happy with my pitching setup, if you are too, might I suggest asking for an all batter trade.

Phlabibit - what do you think? Should I trade and risk kicking your a$$ in this weeks matchup, or stick with what I know and no doubt get a sound beating?
Originally posted by StarrmanHis pitching is definitely NOT good enough. Just my opinion...
