I am disliking norton more and more.

but in its defence.

I did download a virus (my fault entirely)
and norton Zapped it straight away.

Could you recommend a virus blocker?

I do have Zonealarm firewall. WOuld this be enough? I do trust it.

AVG is good and free. Alot of free ones are terrible but AVG does the job also from quite a few people I know have spoken highly of it, its in the same league as the more famous brands.

Telling Norton won't be the problem. Un-installing it will be. It won't go quietly, believe me.

I use NOD32. They had a new definition out within hours of the .wmf exploit being discovered.

That is quite interesting. I would love to know what is causing the problem. I suspect Norton is chewing up the current JavaScript files looking for possible exploits on every request. Not a good situation because I intend to use far more JavaScript in future. (The pending new board code is very JavaScript heavy.)
