So, why is the answer 'the man'? My daddy never told me this riddle, but he did tell me once when we talking about which side of the road people drive on in different countries that the French drive in the middle. My trusting mind suffered a painful sprain.:'(

2 legs afternoon : man standing upright

3 legs evening : man with cane in old age
