saw him at Newcastle city hall about 10 years back he was amazing.

Is the great man dead? was unaware, also saw him perform in Glasgow, was 2awesome 😀

The end seemed to come rather suddenly, He was admitted to a hospital just last week.

I've seen him several times in concert, and yes, he is legend.

The man was 89 and he will be missed.

And "Lucille", along with many others mourn and cry at his passing. "She" will no longer feel his fingers run up and down her strings.

I literally bumped into him back stage at the Fillmore. I was a guitar tech for another act. I was carrying a guitar at the time. He smiled, then saw the guitar and said "Oh you play?"
I said no sir, just a teckie. 🙁 He said "Oh no son, you can play, I heard you at work."
