sorry. I didn't think that 3 letter word for a persons posterior, or a donkey, was offensive. Or were you talking about my use of the word "chipper", which I actually found quite grateing.

There is a wee button under posts you have placed there, called "Edit". Push it. Make sure your editing actually makes the post worthwhile. Refrigerate after opening. Etc.

it's only available for a short while after you post, maybe 1 hour, or less. It avoids having to post several times in succession.

So I can change this post now to note that Flash just said exactly the same thing😉

Also note the "1 edit" announcement to the left, so everyone knows the mesage has been altered

You can only edit your post for a short time after you send it. You should see an edit button next to the "reply and quote" button of the post you sent.

Dougie! I just looked up when our last game was....the last move came on Jan 26th...LAST YEAR!! Shall we do something about that? 🙂 (so long as we can talk about the British TV chef Delia Smith 😉)

Moderators can not edit someone else's post. They can only remove it from the forum.

Only the person who makes a post can edit it, and the edit function goes away after an hour.

You didn't ask, but anyone can click 'alert moderator', but this does not remove the post. It only alerts moderators, who look at it and decide to either hide (remove) a post, or to accept it.
