Am a little surprised you rate Forest Whitaker's acting. Maybe i've only seen him in bad films? (Vantage Point, Battlefield Earth, Phenomenon).

Didn't take much time to get the franchise going again after that 4 billion dollar investment.
I guess they will be cranking them out monthly now.

I wonder when the bad guys will realize they have to stop those little craft going down an inner shaft to blow up the star wars thingy.....

It IS a good film, though somewhat disturbing. Especially since it is clear that the backdrop is real to some extent.
