Woo Hoo,

although for some reason i am uneasy. I keep having visions of him breaking the same bone within about 5 mins. i wonder how long it will take him to get match fitness. im beginning to think that maybe we should play Crouch and Owen for most of the WC and use rooney as a supersub (C and O's goal tally when playing together is really good as well).

I think Neville is a really good attacking option, as far as defenders go.
Granted, to err is human, but for Neville it is to ***k up, but he works very well with Beckham up the right flank , and gets into some good forward positions. He is a good crosser of the ball too.

Rooney is ready for play. I guess the only thing stopping him is that he needs to take ANOTHER 67 x-ray shots off his foot. And at least 32 doctors must look at each and every shot. Then, MAYBE he can be available....😵

Can't argue with any of that!

I just don't like him and feel that Sven's got a bit of a soft spot for him. IMO it's about time they start phasing in a few younger players at Right Back to give us a few more options for the future.

EDIT: Getting back to point of the thread! Rooney may be fit but he's not played since April (I think). Is in he in form?!
