an everyday item folks may take for granted to always be there
but its absence is excruciating

the temperature today will rise to approximately 106ºF
because of past hiccups in the system i have about 4 gallons (15 liters) stored in jugs
and i'm lucky enough to live on a river so flushing the loo will be relatively easy

i depend far too much on the government
that's gonna change
you'll read about me when i snap

stay thirsty
remain vigilant

On my demise and cremation, running water is where my ashes are to be spread over. I did specify that it not be, via the toilet or any sinks.👍

I draw my water from a well on my land. It's pumped up to a tank on a tower and then gravity feeds the four sinks and two showers in my house.

This must be the fourth consecutive year we’ve experienced higher temps and an early summer drought in the UK. Watering my allotment while hobbling around with a broken toe 🙁 has been tiring. I’ve now connected a water butt and have some other water harvesting and energy saving plans including outdoor showering in my secluded garden using a sun warmed bucket of water.
