Do they not teach implication in schools today? By saying that you should be afraid if it tests simple writing skills I have implied that you are very bad at spelling and grammar.

haha good observation....columbo, but im afraid I work 5-6 days a week. When its quiet i play!
But trust me I love chess but have other interests too. What I dont like is when someone "Xanthoszx" for example finds it difficult to be nice. Speak to people the way you wish to be spoken to, Its common courtesy if you ask me!

Anyways stick with the school work knowledge is everything!

we don't have SAT's in Canada Universities.. we have the GRE (Graduate Records Exam).. so.. can't tell you how hard SAT's are.. but, I can advise for GRE's.. I scored very well (92 and 93 percentile) on analytical and logical (enough to qualify for Mensa when they used to use GRE as one of the options).. but.. umm.. won't talk about the language portion.. 51st percentile.. eek.
