Cerezo could only manage a 2-2 draw on Saturday, giving them 59 points in total. It just wasn't enough. Jose Carlos missed a penalty, so I'll blame him.
Ganba beat Kawasaki 4-2, Kashima Antlers beat Kashiwa Reysol 4-0, Jef United beat Nagoya 2-1, and Urawa Reds beat Niigata Albirex 4-1.
Ganba won the League Championship with 60 points + 24 goal difference,
Urawa came second with 59 and +28,
Kashima 3rd, 59 +22,
Jef 4th, 59 + 14
Cerezo 5th, 59 + 8.
On Saturday Cerezo play Jef in the Emperor's Cup in Tottori.

I'll be living in Hiratsuka City next year, so by geography I will become a rampant Shonan Bellmare fan.
Unfortunately, it is supposed to be the equivalent of supporting a team like Hartlepool United...😞
Just out of morbid curiousity, are there any appropriate chants for Japanese football? My translations would be more laughable than encouraging/abusive(!)
e.g. "Obaa-san ha (----)-san yori hayai desu yo! Demo, kyounen kara, Obaasan ha shinimasu" ....
I use something similar for local games
"Here mate, you're slower than my Granny, and she's been dead for 10 years"

The worst concert of my life was when the Roling Stones played here 3 years ago. I was actually TOLD OFF for singing along. After each song, well-meaning applause was heard...
Not surprisingly, they didn't do any encores, because by the time they'd run off the stage, most of the audience had also left.

Along the same lines as you mentioned, I seen an old video of a Deep Purple tour of Japan - when the cameras scanned to where the mosh-pit should be, there were just a lot of suited Japanese businessmen applauding politely
