Now that you mention it, it wasn't actually that wild. π But Bermuda was just beautiful and peaceful. The houses were so colorful.
My wife and I were actually happy to come home and get back to work, that much fun was too much.
"What you want to do today"?
'Go to the beach'
"OK"
If I changed anything, I'd snorkel right away. I didn't discover the fun until the last 3 days of the trip to St. Maartin.

I did snorkeling the first day, it was amazing. The last few months we lived in Cokely Town, across 'Fresh Creek' (Andros is actually a chain by itself, AUTEC on South Andros and Cokely town on North Andros, two separate islands), actually an estuary about a half mile wide. We had to take a boat across at 5 AM, a flat bottom filled with Bahamians going to work, one time so many in the boat (it had a 5 hp Eagle outboard!) the front was dipping underwater. One time a giant manta flew under the boat, one wing on the left, the other wing on the right just under us. Talk about freaked out. If you wanted to go at another time than 5 AM or 4 PM you had to give a fifth of rum to 'Premier' the boat driverπ

All day, no worries... just sitting in the sun with nothing more to do than enjoy yourself.
As Captain Kirk once pointed out... We humans like to SUFFER!~
