@stewie saidWhy is St. Patrick's Day Celebrated for?
Irish?
The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general. Green beer is drank in many pubs, taverns, bars today! People wear green and seems to bring in a lot of green to the bars. 🙂

@gambrel saidLOL....Good luck with that! I am looking at a crowd gathered in front of a Dublin bar waiting to get in I assume. They claim many locals went away as they invaded today by outsiders. 🙂
I for one am sick and tired of Irish stereotypes. And as soon as I finish my beer I'm going to punch someone in the FACE.

@earl-of-trumps saidThanks. This year it fell on the same day as my weekly boozing day. So that was good. I entered into the spirit of celebrating my ancestors and the land of their birth by imbibing a fair few bottles of Balinese beer in the company of a Yorkshireman who is convert to islam and a Swiss woman who is a lapsed Hindu. I imagine such a contrivance could also easily happen in Dublin in the C21st.
Happy St Patrick's, everyone
