Saturday Morning

There were some good points made concerning cartoons over the past
3 decades. I rarely post to the forum, but I felt the need to point out
a fabulous cartoon that somehow wasn't mentioned. Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles was one of the most radical, tubular cartoons ever. The
movies were awful, but the original Saturday morning turtles along with
the all-knowing mutant rat was good good stuff. I'm getting a little
teary-eyed now.... at least Scooby-Doo is still on.

I don't know that much about the cartoon, but it was based on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic
book which WAS pretty good. They were a little bit edgier before they became a big hit and had to
be toned down for the mass market.
