Beautifull night, 80 degrees, clear skies. Man U put on a clinic. Celtic pushed the ball up all night but couldn't break through United's defense. Dissapointed in the play of the Celtics keeper, he didn't come off his line very well.

Hopefully they'll do this again next year. I'd love to see some other world class teams play in Seattle. Awesome.

Did you get to see the match down at Seachicken Stadium? I know the pubs around town were hopping, especially the George and Dragon, Owl and Thistle and Mullaydies. Interesting how popular the sport has become here in Seattle.

Personally, I think going to friendlies is a waste of money.😞

When your selection of live soccer in Seattle consists of a decent college squad and an A-League team (roughly 2nd division in England possibly 3rd), then a freindly between Man U and Celtic is quite a good use of my hard earned cash.

Just my humble opinion.

A friend of mine was telling me that he was kind of surprised that only one dude rushed the field! With all the folks who actually flew from their home countries to watch, I figured there would have been a lot more of that.

and he wasn't even naked. I'm not implying that I WANTED to see someone naked on the field, but being a half-streaker is kinda half-arsed (to use the british vernacular).

surely you mean world class TEAM not TEAMS as that would suggest celtic being world class and i think we all know RANGERS are the only world class team in scotland.😀😛
