Sorry to hear of your troubles. People leave digital footprints all over the web, and major companies lose control of their databases every month. It may be that you weren’t careless, but some place where you used that card in the past got hacked. I hope you recover the funds.

A scam happened on his card just like mine except on 450 bucks but 15 thousand pounds, a tad bit more. The charge got rescinded and placed back into his account which is what is happening with my piddling 400 bucks.
