in the absense of Dave, there is another Schliemann in RHP. Check this out: game # 94232 sintubin - fernando J P Vasquez. Ruy Lopez
Schliemann variation. No comments on the moves please - game still on.Sin.

Okay, no comments on the moves-- but if you would consider
annotating this game when it is over, I would love to see it. You could
post it here, or e-mail it to me. I know that's a time-consuming task,
so no problem if you can't do it.

I'll ask fernando if we can comment together, no matter the outcome.

That would be excellent, and most appreciated.

I have already analyzed at least the opening...since nobody here
knows it better than me...I will wait for the finish before I show what
went wrong.

I'm very interessed to see your analise to the game. I also noticed
that something went wrong but I dont know were.
This was one openings that I was thinking to play in our next games
but now I've not so sure. :-)

Oka since the game is WAY past the opening...I will just bring up one
point move 11...Nxd7?...this just gives white the game...correct was
Kxd7..as played in Gufeld - Myasnikov Riga 1960.

There is no compensation for the pawn and white's attack finally
overwhelms...although I have yet to look past this move in your guy's
game...but that was the first mistake I saw.

Dave

Hopefully that didn't offend anyone

sorry Dave, you should not have commented on an ongoing game.

I apologize Gil...I only commented on the 11th move...and I think
you guys are way past any point where my comment would have had
any relevance to your current situation in the game.

I did no analysis..just one simple comment...which is legal depending
upon current condition.

In a OTB tourney game a person can read an endgame book while he
is still in the opening...did you know that?

You two are almost in the endgame now...and move 11 means
nothing at this point..except that there lies the mistake.

Once again...I apologize.

You are both right, and both wrong.
But it is better to wait,I think.

Thanks lyn...I looked at the game and thought they were in the
40's...not 20's

So my goof...and I can't apologize enough.

Okay you are on move 21 and still in the middlegame from what I see.

So once again I apologize...but I would like to take the next shot to
play the "Schliemann" defense against you...if you will let me of
course. Then I think people will get a greater grasp of it's theory here.
