Nae lad. Any good? I do like a good hike though and sorry to tell you this, I'm a keen photographer too!

yes they are outstanding, mostly people go to the cairngorms, which in my opinion are bland, the real hicking is done in Glencoe, the mountains are not so high that you cannot get up and down them in a day, excellent scree surfing on the way down as well, plus spectacular views like the Aonach Eagach ridge walk, three thousand feet either side in some spots, stunning, utterly stunning, just check the weather, go prepared, respect the mountain and you'll do alright. If you fancy something a little less taxing there are the Trossachs, some pretty high mountains , but some smaller ones too, like, Ben Aan, which you can easily cover in half a day, its a photographers dweem!
