Okay, it's about time that a Seinfeld thread appeared. Seinfeld is my all-time favourite television show. I'd still rather watch Seinfeld repeats than most current shows. I am waiting for the DVD release for seasons one and two just in time for this Christmas. Sony's delay was to increase syndication profits. Ain't it always the way!

What's your favourite Seinfeld moment?

One scene that I love is when Jerry and Elaine are at the rental car dealersip and Jerry is inquiring about his car rental. The woman tells Jerry that they do not have his car. Jerry asks whether they have the reservation. The woman replies that they do, but they don't have the car. Jerry explains to the lady how the reservation is supposed to hold the car. The woman indignantly replies that she knows why they have reservations. Jerry then creates a classic comeback:

\"I don't think you do! You see, if you did, then I'd have car. You know how to take a reservation. You just don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's the most important part... the holding. Anyone can take a reservation.\" Jerry starts scribbling motions in the air.

omg!!! I adore Seinfeld!!!! It is the funniest show ever! It is shown in many countries around the world, so you can make references to it and people will get the reference.
It changed the way people talk.
When I was in NYC we went to eat at the soup nazi's place! That is my favorite episode! You can say lines from it with no set up and people will reply to them!

I love that moment, yes lol. BUT... I'm afraid the best moment goes to George and... well, some other guy. The Dip Scene.

"What are you doing?"
(George) "What?"
"You double-dipped the chip!"
"I what?"
"You dipped the chip... you took a bite... *points to bowl* And you dipped again."
"So?"
"That's like putting your whole mouth right in the dip!!!... Next time, just take one dip and end it!"

lol Man, Larry David really is Mr. Entertainment. He not only looks exactly like Woody Allen, but hits the same punchlines. Priceless!

rgoud got the best one...

Ok, Soup Nazi! I love how Kramer is able to stand there and talk with the Nazi on 'an even playing field'.

Kramer says, 'You suffer for your soup, you can expect no less from your customers'.

That cracks me up.

I hate when Elain spoils everything... Still makes me mad!

How about the 'Street Toughs'.... same episode!

'Chew talking to me?! Are chew Talking to me?!'

Best show!

Jerry and George are in the their guest bedroom as Elaine walks by. The guys yell to Elaine. A surprised Elaine turns and walks into the room. The guys begin discreetly asking Elaine whether women know about how things change for men when they immerse themselves in cold water. You know... down there.

Elaine: It shrinks??? Why does it shrink?
George: It just does.
Elaine: I don't know how you guys walk around with those things.

Kramer answers the phone at Jerry's apartment and doesn't know that he is supposed to answer with "Vandelay Industries". He starts telling the caller, the unemployment insurance woman, that she has the wrong number and that she is way off base. George, who is in the washroon, comes running out with his pants down around his ankles yelling "Vandelay Industries! Say Vandelay Industries!" George trips between the sofa and the front door and lays there in defeat as Kramer hangs up the phone. At this moment, Jerry walks in and views George face down with his pants around his ankles:

Jerry: And you want to be my latex salesman.
