i was watching season 3, episode 3 last night when i was chilled by the notion that i was watching a random tv show about nothing that mirrored the general forum of rhp
characters were arguing over minute details of superficial junk
as i began to relate individual characters created there, to persona evoked here, i became concerned that all the "real life" stuff i thought was real life was naught but a tv show from the past
and the illusion persisted
but when the character of elaine (stoned nearly incoherent by muscle relaxers) began to impersonate brando's "steEEELaa! stellaaa!" in the most perfect guttural groaning pain before passing out yet again, i felt like that character was ME, mocking the entirety of the forum and i was frightened that i had become the illusion that i was pointing a finger at
i laughed and resumed assigning specific forum persona to specific seinfeld characters
that's when the veil of the illusion began to lift and i saw reality
