RHP General Forum has been a wonderful ride these past twelve months. Especially enjoyed the opportunity of getting to know many

kindred spirits and of cultivating several genuine friendships. At this point, however, daily participation no longers weighs out as quite

worth the effort. I have only appreciation to express to Russ ...[text shortened]... bers who in one way or another made my day.

Kind regards,

gb

Re: Item of Old Business

Just wondering whatever happened to the entertaining and somewhat humorous "Recent Emails with Bill" general forum thread. A number

of posts first day early this past week. Next day, it mysteriously disappeared. No 'alerted moderator' personal message received to date.

Thanks,

-gb

No point, I have had several threads removed in recent weeks without explanation of any description.
We are now in an era of if the mod doesn't like the content then it is removed with no comeback

Do you expect EVERYONE who posted in a thread to be notified when it's removed?

Too much is removed nowadays. I suspect spite plays a large part in said removals

You'd prefer all the post and threads that break the TOS to stay?

This sort of speculation adds to the animosity in this forum. If that is your intention, carry on.

He's the one who started the thread, hence his interest. If I started a thread that disappeared, I'd be curious as to why. I'd probably not mention it, but I'd still wonder. If only a few posts disappeared, I wouldn't think about it because I'd not doubt the possibility that people go overboard intentionally and accidentally and violate the TOS.

Mods must have been given extra powers or become ultra sensitive with the volume that are disappearing 🙁
