Time for all the hater and sceptics to get on the band wagon and join the true sox fans who have lived and died with this team.
It wasn't the fact that they won Games 4 and 5, but the way they won, that made me change my outlook on this team. They are something special. I haven't seen a Red Sox team with this kind of resiliency in my lifetime. (Which, admittedly, only goes back to 1978, the year of the Dent.)

Even back in the 80's and early 90's, when the Sox got a World Series appearance and a few more postseason appearances, the Yankees weren't even competitive. Whenever the Yankees have been competitive, they've always been at least one step ahead of the Red Sox. This promises to end tonight.
I hate to remind you, but beating the Yankees doesn't end the curse. You still have to actually win the World Series.
